LAHORE — Government Furqan High School Sheikhupura and Government Pilot Secondary School Wahdat Road Lahore secured victories on the opening day of the 56th Jaffer Memorial Inter-School Hockey Championship 2026, organised by Aitchison College.

Three matches were decided on the opening day, according to the organisers.
In the first match, Government Furqan High School Sheikhupura defeated Government High School Shahdara 6-0 to register a convincing victory.
In the second match, Government Pilot Secondary School Wahdat Road Lahore beat Noble Aims Tattlay Aali, Kamoke, 4-1.
The championship is being held under the auspices of Aitchison College and features school teams competing in the annual hockey event.
