LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly has passed a resolution unanimously In view of the problems of the growing population in the Punjab.
The resolution demanded the immediate implementation of family planning, awareness and education campaign
According to the resolution, the population of Punjab is growing very rapidly, which is a great threat to the resources of the province.

It is said Punjab is facing problems such as education and health first. “Access to basic facilities, nutrition, housing, etc. It is imperative that the standard of living and rights of every citizen be taken care of. The increase in population is a major reason for providing opportunities for living a good life, equal access to resources and sustainable development,” it is added.
“Family planning should be implemented immediately to control the population,” the resolution said.
In view of the growing population, an awareness and education campaign should be started. For family planning, it should be ensured that family planning related facilities are easily accessible to the citizens.
