Nadeem emphasised that transparency, discipline and merit were being given priority throughout the selection process. Every young player, he said, should receive a fair opportunity to demonstrate his abilities, as the timely identification of talented cricketers was essential for building a strong cricketing system.
He added that the LRCA would continue its efforts to nurture emerging talent, promote quality cricket and support the professional development of young players.
The LRCA president also appreciated the efforts of officials, supervising coaches and ground management teams across all five zones for organising the trials.
He expressed hope that the exercise would help identify talented players capable of representing Lahore at higher levels of the game.
The association reaffirmed its commitment to promoting cricket among young people and strengthening the region’s cricketing future through merit-based selection and improved opportunities for aspiring players.
