LAHORE: Pakistan Solar Association (PSA) has expressed a deep concern over rising import of substandard solar panels by illegal and unauthorized third-party importers.

In a statement, PSA highlighted the significant risk posed by these substandard products, which are harmful not only to consumers but also to Pakistan’s economy and reputation.
PAS chairman Aamir Chaudhary warned that Pakistan could become a dumping ground for inferior solar panels if the trend continues.
He urged the government and the regulatory authorities to take an immediate action against the importers and enforce strict standards for solar panels and sales to protect consumers and the country’s standing.[:]
