LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Fact-Finding Committee on Bilawal’s Defeat in NA-127 Lahore has found reasons for the defeat of PPP Chairman in general election, The Tribune Int’l has learnt reliably.

After the PPP chairman defeat, PPP Central Punjab President Raja Pervez Ashraf formed a three-member fact-finding committee to find out the reasons for the defeat of Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in NA-127.
The team was consisted of Khan Asif Khan, Imtiaz Safdar Waraich and Rana Ikram Rabbani.
The report, which the committee has prepared, is quoted to have said the PPP Lahore Election Committee and the PPP Lahore Organisation had not done fully well to enable Bilawal Bhutto win the election and the arrangements were also not good even on the election day.
The committee compiled the report after recording interviews of 170 workers, officials and ticket holders before sending it to the chairman, it was said.
Sources said the committee had prepared a report and sent it to the party chairman.
PPP Election Committee and PPP Lahore Organisation were being headed by Ali Badar and Ch Muhammad Aslam Gill.
When this scribe contacted Aslam Gill said the Lahore organisation had fully campaigned for the victory of the party chairman Bilawal Bhutto at all levels.
Bilwal Bhutto Election Campaign head Ali Badar told this scribe it was an internal matter of the party and should be discussed within the party only.[:]
