LAHORE — As preparations for the upcoming Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) elections gather pace, the Founders Group has intensified its campaign activities with renewed outreach to key trading hubs across the city, aiming to strengthen its position among business voters.

In this regard, Chairman Founders Group Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim visited Brandreth Road, one of Lahore’s most active commercial centres, where he was warmly received by trader representatives and local market leadership. The visit is being seen as part of the group’s broader effort to consolidate support ahead of the chamber elections.

A major reception was organised by President Anjuman Tajran Rehman Galiyan Brandreth Road, Chaudhry Naveed Ayyub Kamboh, along with his associates. Traders from Brandreth Road and Rehman Galiyan welcomed the Founders Group leadership with what participants described as a “historic and unprecedented reception,” reflecting strong enthusiasm among local business circles.

During the visit, Chaudhry Naveed Ayyub Kamboh formally announced full support for the Founders Group in the upcoming LCCI elections. He expressed confidence that the group would secure victory, citing its long-standing role in representing the voice of traders and industrialists.

He stated that the Founders Group has consistently acted as a platform for business advocacy and has remained engaged with resolving issues faced by the trading community. He added that unity among traders would play a key role in ensuring a successful electoral outcome.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim thanked the traders of Brandreth Road and Rehman Galiyan for their warm welcome and support. He said the Founders Group remains committed to addressing the challenges faced by the business community, including taxation concerns, market stability, and facilitation of trade activities.

He further said that the group’s engagement with traders across Lahore reflects its inclusive approach and its commitment to strengthening coordination between markets and chamber leadership.

Local traders participating in the gathering expressed optimism over the upcoming elections and reiterated their confidence in the Founders Group leadership. They assured full cooperation in mobilising support within their respective markets.

The event concluded with renewed commitments from both sides to continue collaboration in the lead-up to the LCCI elections. Organisers said further meetings and outreach programmes will be conducted in other key markets in the coming days as part of the election campaign strategy.

Analysts of chamber politics note that trader group alignments are becoming increasingly active as election season approaches, with competing panels intensifying outreach efforts across Lahore’s major makets.
