LAHORE: Director of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Chairman of the Daroghawala Industry Owners Association, Shaban Akhtar, along with Association President Rameez Diwan, said that the Daroghawala Industry Owners Association (PIBTIC) is actively working on every platform for the welfare of industrialists and skilled youth.
To provide skilled manpower to industries, Daroghawala Association and PIBTIC set up major booths at the PVTC Mega Job Fair 2026 held at Expo Centre Lahore, where more than 8,000 skilled youngsters and over 100 renowned companies participated.
The Punjab Vocational Training Council successfully organized the “PVTC Mega Job Fair 2026” at Expo Centre Lahore, which emerged as a historic large-scale employment event aimed at connecting skilled youth with job opportunities across Punjab.
The event was held under the vision of the Government of Punjab and the Chief Minister Punjab’s “Skilled Punjab” initiative. Leading industries, multinational companies, overseas employment promoters, development partners and government institutions participated in the mega event.

The Daroghawala Association’s stall remained a center of attention for chief guests and guests of honour, including Secretary Skills Development and Entrepreneurship Department Punjab Nadir Chattha, Parliamentary Secretary Saqib Khan Chadhrar, DG Labour Syeda Kulsoom, Chairman PEDMIC Javed Iqbal, Chairman PVTC Khalid Masood Chaudhry, Managing Director PVTC Ms. Samia Saleem and Project Manager MRC Pakistan Saad ur Rehman Khan.
The dignitaries visited the Daroghawala stall, appreciated the association’s services for the country and the industrial sector, and invited the association for future collaboration with their respective institutions.
During the event, companies and institutions including Daewoo Express, Atlas Honda Limited, Cakes & Bakes, Uniworth, Nishat Apparel and Federal Investigation Agency conducted interviews in various sectors and provided employment opportunities to young participants.
Coordinator Umar Abdullah, General Secretary Shehzad Saleem, Finance Secretary Haji Nisar and Executive Member Farhan Ali were also present on the occasion.
