Nankana Sahib: The Country Scholarship Test 2026 was held in Morkhunda, where more than 600 students from various government and private educational institutions participated.

Students competed in multiple subjects, including physics, chemistry, computer science, and English, showcasing their academic abilities. The top 40 position holders will receive free intermediate education for two years, along with significant cash prizes.
According to the prize distribution, the first position holder will receive Rs150,000, the second Rs130,000, and the third Rs115,000. Students securing positions from fourth to tenth will be awarded Rs10,000 each.
Mehr Ahmed Ali Padhyar, the test administrator, said the scholarship test series was launched in 2017 to support talented and deserving students. He added that the initiative aims to provide financial assistance and help students achieve their educational goals.
He further stated that under the two-year scholarship programme, Rs40 million will be spent on free education, teacher training, and co-curricular activities.
Participating students appreciated the initiative, calling it a valuable opportunity, especially for families with limited financial resources. They said such programmes are crucial in helping them continue their education and pursue their dreams.
