LAHORE: Honourable executives and officers of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) hosted a grand and memorable farewell reception in honour of Mr. Akbar Ali Khan Sial, Assistant Vice President and Manager of the NBP Urdu Bazar Branch, acknowledging his outstanding services to the institution.

The farewell ceremony was held at Ziafat Restaurant, 26-H College Road, Gulberg-II, Lahore, and was attended by a large number of senior bankers, officials, and members of the NBP community. The event concluded in a dignified and cordial atmosphere, reflecting the respect and affection Mr. Sial enjoys among his colleagues.
Speakers paid rich tribute to Mr. Akbar Ali Khan Sial, describing him as a dedicated, honest, and highly professional banker who served the National Bank of Pakistan with commitment and integrity. During his tenure, he played an important role in improving branch performance, strengthening customer relations, and mentoring junior staff. His calm leadership and administrative skills were widely appreciated.
A key highlight of the event was the address by Javed Khan, President of the NBP Progressive Association, who praised Mr. Sial’s long-standing services and exemplary conduct. Javed Khan said that Akbar Ali Khan Sial set a benchmark for professionalism and teamwork, adding that his contributions would be remembered for years to come. He also thanked all participants for making the farewell ceremony a success.
Other prominent participants included Kazim Ali Jaffry, S.V.P. (Retd), Dr. Zahid Iqbal Sheikh (PhD), Farooq Qadir, VP and Manager PP Assembly, Basher Haider, Officer Grade-I, Khalid Farooq, Chairman, Mian Sagheer Ahmed, S.V.P., Afsar Khan, VP, and Zahid Abbas, Secretary NBP Progressive Association Lahore.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of souvenirs and collective prayers for the health, success, and future endeavors of Mr. Akbar Ali Khan Sial, marking a graceful end to his tenure.
