LAHORE: The government has decided to keep petroleum product prices unchanged for the next 15 days, offering no immediate relief to consumers struggling with rising living costs.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol will remain at Rs253.17 per litre, while high-speed diesel will continue to be sold at Rs257.08 per litre.
The decision comes after a price cut earlier this month, when the government reduced petrol by Rs10.28 per litre and high-speed diesel by Rs8.57 per litre on January 1.
Officials said the move aims to maintain stability in the fuel market, though many consumers had hoped for further reductions amid easing global oil prices.
