LONDON (Web Desk) – The United Kingdom has deported well-known Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt after cancelling his British visa, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
According to reports, Rajab Butt was sent back to Pakistan on a morning flight following the revocation of his visa by the UK Home Department. The visa was reportedly cancelled after it was revealed that he failed to disclose pending legal cases in Pakistan while submitting his visa application.
Sources said the UK authorities took notice of the matter after learning about the legal cases registered against the YouTuber in Pakistan, due to which he had allegedly remained out of sight for several months.
It remains unclear whether Rajab Butt will stay in Pakistan or travel to another country in the coming days. He is reportedly facing a possible legal case in Pakistan over allegations of promoting an online gambling application.
