LAHORE, November 7: CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyhana directed police officers and officials to strictly follow officially approved uniform pattern prescribed by the Punjab Police Department. On his instructions, DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar has issued a formal circular in this regard.

According to the police spokesperson, DIG Imran Kishwar emphasized that any deviation from the approved uniform pattern, including unapproved styles, colours or designs would be treated as misconduct under departmental rules and strict disciplinary action would be initiated against those found violating the prescribed standards.
He instructed all officers and officials to ensure complete compliance with the approved design, colour, badges and accessories of the police uniform. DIG (Admin) further directed that all field commanders would be personally responsible for monitoring uniforms of their subordinates and surprise inspections will be carried out to verify aforementioned compliance. DIG (Admin) warned that any violation of these directives would be dealt with strictly in accordance with departmental code of conduct.
