Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again lauded US President Donald Trump, describing him as the driving force behind the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Addressing a press conference in Sharm el-Sheikh after signing of the Gaza deal, the Prime Minister referred to Trump as a steadfast supporter of peace and a true symbol of harmony.
Shehbaz Sharif said that the day marked a historic milestone in the pursuit of peace, noting that stability in South Asia had also become possible through the US President’s efforts. He added that Pakistan had officially nominated President Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize.
The Prime Minister further stated that, after tireless diplomatic efforts, peace had finally been achieved in Gaza, saving countless lives through the ceasefire accord.
Commending Trump’s continuous work for global peace, Shehbaz said his contributions were worthy of great appreciation and international recognition.
It is worth mentioning that the ceasefire agreement, signed by the mediating nations to end the Gaza conflict, was hailed by President Trump as a historic achievement.
