LAHORE — Executive Committee Member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Human Rights Activist, and Women Business Forum representative Firdous Nisar has warmly congratulated the newly elected LCCI office bearers — President Faheem-ur-Rehman Saighol, Senior Vice President Tanveer Sheikh, and Vice President Khurram Lodhi — on their remarkable victory in the LCCI elections.

In her congratulatory message, Firdous Nisar expressed confidence that the new leadership would play a vital role in strengthening the business environment, promoting industrial growth, and ensuring women’s economic empowerment in Pakistan. She lauded President Faheem-ur-Rehman Saighol’s forward-looking approach and commitment to the chamber’s modernization, describing him as a dynamic business leader with a strong vision for inclusive and sustainable development.

Firdous Nisar emphasized that the new team’s victory reflects the trust and hope of the business community, particularly SMEs and women entrepreneurs, who seek tangible reforms in taxation, exports, and ease of doing business. She also appreciated the efforts of Senior Vice President Tanveer Sheikh and Vice President Khurram Lodhi for their long-standing contributions to the chamber and the private sector.

Highlighting the importance of gender inclusion, she urged the LCCI leadership to continue supporting women-led startups and female participation in trade delegations and policymaking. “Economic progress is not possible without empowering women and protecting human rights within the business ecosystem,” she remarked.

Firdous Nisar reaffirmed her commitment to work alongside the new LCCI leadership to advance the causes of trade facilitation, business reforms, and entrepreneurial innovation, contributing to Pakistan’s economic stability and global competitiveness.
