LAHORE: A delegation of Pakistan Padel Federation (PPF) called on Provincial Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar at the National Hockey Stadium on Wednesday.

Barrister Bilal Ashraf, Fahad Bakhsh Alaya and Vice Chairman SBP Malik Suleman were the part of delegation.
During the meeting, the delegation requested the Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar for the approval of Punjab Padel Tennis Association upon which the minister directed the officers concerned for the quick approval of Punjab Padel Tennis Association.
Talking on this occasion, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the game of padel tennis will be included in the Khelta Punjab Pink Games. “Modern padel tennis courts will be established in Lahore, Rawalpindi and Multan”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar further said that the Punjab Sports Department has been taking effective measures for the promotion of sports culture in accordance with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. “The sports infrastructure in Punjab province is also being improved as per modern day requirements”.
Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the game of padel tennis is getting immense popularity among the younger generation. “Sports events played a vital role in bringing young people towards healthy and positive activities and regular participation in sports activities created discipline and teamwork among the younger generation”.
