LAHORE: The much-anticipated Free Fire World Series (FFWS) Pakistan 2025, powered by Jazz GameNow, has officially begun, promising fierce battles, thrilling moments, and a prize pool worth PKR 3.5 million. This year marks a historic moment for Pakistani gamers, as for the first time, the FFWS Pakistan x Jazz GameNow will be open to all through the Free Fire Cup (In-game Qualifiers).
The ultimate reward? The winning squad will earn the honor of representing Pakistan in the FFWS Global Finals 2025, set to take place this November in Jakarta, Indonesia, where teams from across the globe will compete for glory and a prize pool of USD 1 million.
Registration for the event opened on August 29 and will close on September 5, 2025. Aspiring players can register directly in-game through the Free Fire Cup mode, forming teams of four to five members. For thousands of Pakistani gamers, this is a golden chance to transition from casual play to professional esports, competing on an international stage.
The qualifiers will run on September 6 and 7, 2025. Each registered squad will receive 15 tickets to play, with their best five match results contributing to the final score. After two days of high-stakes clashes, the top 15 teams will advance, joined by three elite squads from the Free Fire Pakistan World Cup Qualifiers 2025, creating a total of 18 teams in the next phase.
The action intensifies in the Group Stage, which will be played from September 19 to 21. The 18 qualifying squads will be divided into three groups of six, facing off across six iconic Free Fire maps: Bermuda, Purgatory, Alpine, Kalahari, NexTerra, and Solara.
Over three action-packed match days, every team will need to display tactical mastery, adaptability, and nerves of steel. At the end of the stage, the top 12 teams will move forward to the Grand Finals, while the top 8 teams will also secure slots in the Clash Squad Tournament.
The Clash Squad Tournament will light up the esports calendar on September 27 and 28, 2025. Here, the top 8 squads from the Group Stage will compete in elimination rounds, starting with best-of-three duels before advancing into best-of-five semi-finals and finals.
Battles will unfold across randomized maps, including Bermuda, Kalahari, NexTerra, Purgatory, and Solara, testing versatility and precision. With PKR 1 million dedicated to this stage, the Clash Squad winners will walk away with the lion’s share of the prize money.
The journey will culminate in the Grand Finals, scheduled for October 4, 2025, at the National Aerospace Science and Technology Park (NASTP), Karachi. Unlike the online rounds, this will be an offline LAN event, adding an electrifying edge as fans cheer for their favorite squads live.
The top 12 teams from the Group Stage will go head-to-head in the Champion Rush format, where consistency, teamwork, and nerves under pressure will decide the ultimate champion. The winning squad will not only claim their share of the prize pool but also carry Pakistan’s hopes to Jakarta for the FFWS Global Finals 2025.
Fans across Pakistan can immerse themselves in the action through live broadcasts of the Group Stage, Clash Squad Tournament, and Grand Finals. The matches will be streamed on YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, with live commentary in Urdu, ensuring maximum engagement for the country’s rapidly growing esports community.
