According to details, 39 sensitive cases—including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, cheque dishonor, criminal breach of trust, fraud, and robbery—were reviewed. After hearing both parties, the officers issued orders regarding changes in investigation.
The cases included complainants Kashif Ali and Ali Raza (murder), Wasif Dafiq, Muhammad Razaq, and Abdul Wajid (attempted murder), Saima Anwar and Razia Bibi (criminal breach of trust), Imran Sajid (cheque dishonor), Nasreen Begum (theft), and Hasnain Kazim (fraud).
The SSP also issued warnings and showcause notices to several officers found exceeding their authority or failing to investigate on merit.
“Citizens’ complaints must be redressed without delay. Women and child-related cases are being prioritized on emergency basis,” SSP Naveed stressed, adding that his office doors remain open at all times for the public seeking justice.
