LAHORE – A meeting was held at the Investigation Headquarters under the chairmanship of SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed. The meeting was attended by DSPs, investigation in-charges, and readers of the Cantt Division.

During the session, the SSP reviewed the progress report of pending and under-investigation cases and directed officers to submit challans to the courts without unnecessary delay. He emphasized that all available resources must be utilized to arrest proclaimed offenders involved in serious crimes.
SSP Naveed also issued strict instructions to keep police station records updated as per POLCOM standards. He stressed that those involved in sexual abuse of women and children deserve no leniency, and investigators must prepare strong challans based on evidence to ensure strict punishment for the guilty.
He further warned that negligence in duty or misuse of authority would not be tolerated under any circumstances. The SSP instructed officers to address citizens’ complaints on priority and ensure immediate relief to victims, adding that every officer must play a full role in providing timely justice.
