LAHORE: The Lahore police have successfully solved a high-profile theft case involving a Chinese national’s private company in the Hayer area, recovering stolen property worth millions of rupees.
The case, which involved the theft of computers, laptops, and other valuable items, had drawn serious concern from law enforcement. DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, had taken prompt notice of the incident and issued immediate directives to arrest the culprit and recover the stolen goods.
Following these orders, In-charge Investigation Zafar Iqbal of Hayer Police Station, along with his team, launched a swift operation. The team successfully apprehended the suspect and recovered the stolen items, including cash, computers, and laptops.
SP Investigation Cantt, Bushra Nisar, confirmed the recovery and stated that the theft had been carried out under the cover of darkness. She noted that the suspect had targeted the company when it was closed, making off with high-value equipment.
DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza emphasized that the arrest was made possible through the use of both modern technology and human intelligence. “The suspect is now in custody, and a strong case will be built to ensure he is brought to justice,” he stated.
“Those who target foreign nationals in their criminal activities deserve no leniency,” DIG Raza added. “Criminal elements will be dealt with an iron hand.”
SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed has announced commendation certificates for the police team involved in the successful recovery.
