LAHORE: In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister, DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, personally heard public complaints received at his office and issued immediate directives to address them.

During a special hearing session, DIG Zeeshan Raza attentively listened to various complainants regarding flawed or delayed investigations. He ordered inquiries into several cases directly from his office and instructed changes in investigation officers for cases showing negligence.

In some instances, he marked cases for review by the Change of Investigation Board and issued show-cause notices to the investigating officers responsible for substandard performance.
He also directed the Divisional SPs Investigation to promptly resolve specific complaints and personally contacted them over the phone to ensure timely compliance with the instructions.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Zeeshan Raza stated, “We are taking swift action to resolve public grievances related to case investigations. The safety of citizens’ lives and property is our top priority.”
He further emphasized the importance of respectful behavior towards citizens. “Officers must treat every visitor with courtesy and strive to improve their performance,” he said.
Reaffirming his commitment to public service, the DIG added, “My office doors are always open for the people. Solving their problems is our responsibility.”
