LAHORE: The Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) hosted a prestigious award ceremony at its headquarters to honour officers who demonstrated exceptional performance during the first half of 2025 (January to June). The ceremony was graced by Managing Director Safe City Mr. Muhammad Ahsan Younas and Chief Operating Officer Mr. Mustansar Feroze, along with other senior officials.

A total of 263 officers were awarded certificates and cash prizes based on their professional excellence. Awards were distributed in Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories, determined through a transparent digital performance evaluation system. The assessment was based on real-time performance data from the system, ensuring merit-based and unbiased recognition.Officers from Virtual Women Police Station, Child Safety Center, Virtual Blood Bank, Media Center, Emergency 15 Helpline, Operations Monitoring Center, Electronic Data Analysis Center, Dispatch and Control Center, and E-Challan Center were among those honoured for their dedicated services. Importantly, Police Communication Officers from all departments and from districts across Punjab where Smart Safe Cities Projects are operational also received awards, making this a province-wide recognition of excellence.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director Muhammad Ahsan Younas said that These certificates and rewards are not just ceremonial; they are a recognition of our officers’ tireless efforts, dedication, and sense of responsibility. These awards aim to acknowledge their service spirit and inspire even greater performance in the future.
