ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) — A team of specialist doctors has started conducting an eye examination of former prime minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail, prison authorities confirmed on Sunday.
According to jail officials, a medical team consisting of eye specialists and other healthcare professionals reached the jail with necessary medical equipment to carry out the examination. The medical process is being supervised by a medical board, and a detailed report is expected after the completion of the check-up.
Officials said arrangements had already been finalized for the former premier’s complete medical assessment. The ongoing eye examination is part of a wider health evaluation to assess his overall medical condition.
Authorities added that strict security measures remain in place during the medical procedure. Further medical decisions are likely to be taken after the medical board submits its findings.
