LAHORE, November 10 — Lahore Investigation Police have arrested a suspect involved in a series of burglaries and recovered stolen property worth over Rs35 million, including 70 tolas of gold jewelry, artificial ornaments, six luxury watches, two tablets, six LCDs, and burglary tools.

According to the spokesperson, the operation was conducted on the directions of DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza as part of an intensified crackdown against criminal elements across the city.
SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed had assigned the Shad Bagh Investigation Police the task of tracing and arresting the suspect. Acting on intelligence, the team apprehended the accused and recovered the stolen valuables. The recovered gold and other items have been handed over to their rightful owners.
SSP Muhammad Naveed stated that the suspect used to conduct surveillance of houses during the day and would return at night to steal valuables from locked homes. During interrogation, the accused confessed to multiple burglary incidents in different police station jurisdictions across Lahore.
DIG Investigation Syed Zeeshan Raza reiterated that the crackdown against criminals will continue without discrimination, emphasizing that the protection of citizens’ lives and property remains the top priority of the Lahore Police.
Commending the efforts of the investigating team, SSP Investigation Muhammad Naveed distributed appreciation certificates among the officers for their outstanding performance.
