LAHORE – A memorial reference was organized at Quaid-e-Azam Library, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Lahore, in honor of renowned researcher, scholar, and columnist Ziauddin Lahori and his son, Professor Amjad Ali. The event was arranged by Muhammad Umair Khalid, Senior Executive Member of the National Peace and Justice Council, Government of Pakistan.

Ziauddin Lahori was a distinguished author known for his works on Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the Pakistan Movement, the lunar calendar, and Islamic chronology. His son, Professor Amjad Ali, was a well-known Qari, Naat Khawan, photographer, singer, musician, educator, and yoga instructor.
The event featured speeches from prominent figures, including NPJC Chairman Mian Abdul Waheed, Aitchison College Professor Dr. Zafarullah Shafiq, Rafiqat Ali Shahid, World Punjabi Congress Joint Secretary Muhammad Jameel, and many others. Several notable personalities from various fields, including literature, media, and academia, attended the reference to pay tribute to the late scholars.
The ceremony included Quran recitation by Hafiz Adnan Irshad Hajveri and a special Naat by Dua Qasim. Nadeem Iqbal Bahu presented the poetry of Sultan Bahu, while Khalid Ijaz Mufti moderated the event.

At the conclusion, NPJC Chairman Mian Abdul Waheed distributed NPJC certificates to the participants.
