LAHORE: Australian High Commissioner Niel Hawkins met with the President of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
During the meeting, both the leaders held detailed discussion on matters of mutual interest.
They also agreed to further promote bilateral relations between the two countries.
In the meeting, trade between Pakistan and Australia was also discussed.
Emphasizing the need to expand cooperation in IT, education and agriculture both the leaders pledged to further develop relations between the countries.
The Australian high commissioner expressed his determination to further promote mutual cooperation between the two countries.
Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan-Australia partnership is of great importance, and he appreciate Australia’s cooperation.
The PML-N president told the high commissioner that he would fully support Australian investors to invest in Pakistan.
Sharif said business friendly environment is being provided in Pakistan for the convenience of investors.
Sharif said Pakistan had been wanting to benefit from Australia’s experience in agriculture and IT sector.
