KARACHI (Showbiz Desk) -Pakistani actor Danish Taimoor has broken his silence over reports of an alleged separation from his wife and fellow television star Ayeza Khan, firmly rejecting the rumours and saying the couple is enjoying a happy married life.
Responding to a question from a reporter, Danish dismissed speculation surrounding his marriage and made it clear that his relationship with Ayeza remained strong.
“We are living a happy married life,” Danish said while responding to the reports.
The actor described Ayeza as his life partner and the mother of his children, suggesting that unnecessary speculation was being created around their private life.
“Ayeza Khan is the mother of my lovely children and my life partner,” he said, adding that some people apparently did not like seeing the couple living happily together.
Danish also said that he had been occupied with his professional commitments and did not want to give unnecessary attention to rumours.
The actor said he was working day and night on his current project and did not pay attention to what he described as pointless discussions and false news.
Ayeza Khan also rejects separation claims
Danish’s remarks come after Ayeza Khan herself rejected the rumours circulating on social media about their relationship.
The actress had responded to a question raised by a fan page and clarified that reports suggesting that she and Danish had divorced or separated were baseless and fake.
The statements from both stars have now directly contradicted speculation about problems in their marriage.
Ayeza Khan and Danish Taimoor are among Pakistan’s best-known television personalities, and their personal as well as professional lives attract considerable interest from fans.
The celebrity couple has been married for more than a decade and has two children.
