Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo heard the application at the Lahore District Courts. During the proceedings, the lawyer for the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) informed the court that the investigating officer is presently in Islamabad and has not yet returned the case file. He said that Officer Shoaib Riaz has still not submitted the file needed for the report.
The magistrate questioned Ducky Bhai’s lawyer on how his client had been using YouTube. The counsel clarified that the main YouTube account is with the NCCIA, while the account they were discussing is only an editor-level account.
He further argued that the application concerns the supardari (custody) of electronic devices and mobile phones currently held by the NCCIA. “My client’s four credit cards and the associated amount should also be returned,” the lawyer added.
The NCCIA once again requested additional time to submit its report.
The court granted the plea and ordered the NCCIA to present the report by December 15.
