LAHORE, Dec 10: Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana presided over a performance review meeting of the Model Town and Cantonment Divisions at his office on Tuesday.

The meeting reviewed in detail the overall law and order situation, security arrangements and other key administrative matters. Participants also discussed a comprehensive security plan for Christmas, New Year’s Eve and Basant Festival.
Speaking on the occasion, the CCPO said that ensuring the safety of citizens’ lives and property remained the foremost priority of Lahore Police. He directed officers to adopt an effective and coordinated strategy to curb motorcycle theft.
CCPO Lahore further instructed that FIRs related to financial crimes must be registered without delay and all under-investigation cases should be concluded strictly in accordance with legal requirements. He emphasized timely submission of case challans to courts within the prescribed timeframe and called for close coordination with the prosecution department to reduce pendency.
