LAHORE – Alibaba.com, a leading global business-to-business (B2B) e-commerce platform, has announced its collaboration with the UPS Authorised Service Contractor in Pakistan to offer cost-effective and reliable logistics services for Pakistani exporters.

The initiative aims to help local Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) connect seamlessly to over 200 countries and regions, optimizing delivery speed, pricing transparency, and customer experience worldwide.
The announcement comes as Alibaba.com continues to expand its footprint in Pakistan, recording nearly a 50% year-over-year increase in new suppliers from April to September, along with a significant surge in online transaction volume. Monthly order volume rose by almost 150% compared to six months earlier. Over 90% of Pakistani suppliers on Alibaba.com already use the platform’s Trade Assurance service for secure transactions.
Despite this growth, exporters continue to face obstacles such as high shipping costs, lengthy delivery timelines, and limited visibility into shipment tracking. The new alliance aims to resolve these challenges by integrating UPS’s global logistics network with Alibaba.com’s supply chain ecosystem.
Exporters using Alibaba.com will now benefit from faster door-to-door delivery, with transit times of just 2–4 days to the United States and 2–3 days to Europe. The partnership also introduces exclusive, competitive pricing slabs for Pakistani sellers and enhanced shipment visibility through real-time tracking via Alibaba.com’s TrackSmart system, fully integrated with UPS’s global network.
“Our mission at Alibaba.com is to empower Pakistani SMEs to expand globally by reducing friction in global trade,” said Summer Gao, Head of Global Supply Chain Services at Alibaba.com. “Collaborating with UPS Pakistan ensures exporters have access to world-class shipping solutions, helping them meet international demand with speed, reliability, and transparency.”
Producing Peak, a top-performing Pakistani exporter in the apparel and sports goods sector on Alibaba.com, has already experienced accelerated growth through Trade Assurance. “As an exporter, fast and reliable logistics are vitally critical to our success in global markets,” said Imran Iqbal Bajwa, CEO of Producing Peak. “Before services like Trade Assurance and integrated logistics, we often grappled with frustrating delays and unpredictable costs. The enhanced Alibaba.com logistics service will significantly reduce these challenges, helping us deliver faster, build trust with international buyers, and expand into more markets.”
Berry Ma, Head of Pakistan Business at Alibaba.com, added: “By removing shipping obstacles and offering advanced logistics services, Alibaba.com is helping more SMEs in Pakistan reach customers around the world. This collaboration will make it easier for them to succeed in global markets and transform Pakistan’s strong manufacturing base into new export opportunities.”
