LAHORE, November 15: Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana said that the establishment of Police Khidmat Marakiz has ensured transparent, efficient and citizen-friendly service delivery.

According to the statement issued by the Lahore Police spokesperson on Saturday, digital public services continue to be provided to the citizens through the Police Khidmat Marakiz. More than 1.5 million people have benefitted from policing services during the current year.
The spokesperson said that over 125,000 citizens obtained police character certificates, while more than 256,000 applicants underwent police verification. As many as 403 individuals registered crime reports and more than 14,000 citizens filed lost-documents reports. In addition, over 13,000 people received copies of FIRs.
The statement further noted that more than 634,000 learning driving licenses were issued, along with over 289,000 regular driving licenses. More than 134,000 licenses were renewed, while 6,986 duplicate and 22,000 international driving licenses were also issued during the period.
Moreover, 2,077 citizens completed tenancy registrations, while 918 individuals obtained vehicle verification services.
CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana stated that the police were dedicated not only to combating crime but also to offering modern and efficient services to the public. He further noted that the Police Khidmat Marakiz had become a vital platform for delivering timely assistance to citizens and continued to play a key role in advancing community policing ٭٭٭٭٭
