LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Sports and Labour, Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar, visited the flood-affected areas of Lahore and conducted a detailed inspection of the relief camps established for the victims. He was accompanied by MNA Malik Afzal Khokhar, MPA Malik Anas Khokhar, and Anosh Khokhar.
The provincial minister visited the relief camps set up in Chuhng, Mohlanwal, and Manga Mandi. He reviewed the facilities being provided to the victims, including temporary shelters, food supplies, and medical assistance. He instructed the concerned administration to ensure that no family faces any difficulty. The minister particularly emphasized the urgent provision of clean drinking water, medicines, and proper healthcare services for the victims.
On the occasion, the provincial minister stated that the he Government of Punjab is utilizing all available resources for the rehabilitation of flood victims. We will not leave our brothers and sisters alone in this difficult time.”
He also appealed to the public to come forward generously and support the affected families so they may find relief in these testing times.
MNA Malik Afzal Khokhar said that we are here to share the grief of the affected families. Along with the government, it is also the collective responsibility of society to extend wholehearted support to those in distress. He further added that local representatives were present among the victims to listen to their concerns and ensure that their problems were resolved without delay.
During the visit, the provincial minister met with the flood-affected families, listened to their grievances, and assured them that the Government of Punjab is taking every possible step to provide relief and ensure smooth rehabilitation without any hurdles.
