LAHORE – Under the chairmanship of SSP Investigation Lahore, Muhammad Naveed, the First Transfer of Investigation Board meeting was held at the Investigation Headquarters, attended by all divisional SPs.

A total of 36 cases, including murder, attempted murder, kidnapping, cheque dishonour, criminal breach of trust, fraud, and robbery, were reviewed. Both parties were heard before issuing transfer orders for investigations.
Cases presented for transfer included those filed by complainants Komal Bibi, Faqir Hussain, and Muhammad Akhtar (murder); Muhammad Imran, Safdar Hussain, and Ahmad Sanaullah (attempted murder); Talib Hussain and Naeem Zaman (criminal breach of trust); Syed Shahid, Muhammad Anwar, and Tahir Javed (cheque dishonour); and Firasat Hussain (theft).
Several officers were issued warnings and show-cause notices for exceeding their authority or failing to investigate on merit.
SSP Naveed emphasized that public complaints are being addressed without delay, and merit-based, swift justice is a top priority of the Transfer of Investigation Board. He said cases involving women and children are being handled on an emergency basis and directed officers to ensure immediate relief for the oppressed.
The SSP added that citizens can visit his office at any time for resolution of their issues.
