LAHORE: A performance review meeting for the Model Town and Cantonment Divisions was held at the Capital City Police Headquarters, chaired by Lahore’s CCPO, Bilal Siddique Kamyana. The meeting focused on security arrangements for the Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the Urs of Hazrat Ali Hujwiri (RA).

During the meeting, CCPO Lahore emphasized the importance of safeguarding Chinese nationals, calling it a top priority. He also issued directives to take decisive action against the illegal gambling industry. Kamyana stressed the need for a comprehensive strategy to curb incidents of burglary and theft, suggesting the installation of CCTV cameras in hotspot areas to enhance surveillance.
The CCPO urged supervisory officers to improve performance based on new Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). He also advised the Investigation Wing to focus on enhancing the quality of investigations and reminded officers to treat the public with respect, ensuring that visitors are not unnecessarily made to visit offices multiple times. In cases of official commitments, the public should be informed in a timely manner.
Additionally, Kamyana urged his team to play their role in ensuring the timely delivery of justice to the citizens.
The meeting was attended by senior police officials, including DIG (Admin) Imran Kishore, DIG (Investigation) Zeeshan Raza, DIG (Operations) Faisal Kamran, SSP (Investigation) Muhammad Naveed, SSP (Operations) Tassawar Iqbal, and the SSPs, ASPs, Circle Officers, SHOs, and Investigation Incharges of Model Town and Cantonment Divisions.
