An emotional cross-border romance has attracted widespread attention on social media when an American woman traveled to Pakistan to meet her love whom she fell in love with.
The man belongs to Ashirai Dara Siddiqah Banda of Upper Dir. They both first interacted just as friends on Facebook, but, later, their bond transformed into love.
That love inspired the woman to travel to Pakistan to meet him. Although she has not yet reached Ashirai Dara, local sources confirm that she has arrived in Pakistan and is expected to reunite with Sajid in his hometown soon.
Reports suggest that the couple is keen on marriage, with their families engaging in discussions to finalize arrangements amicably.Social media users have responded to the story with a mix of fascination and varied opinions.
This is not the first such instance of love. A few months ago, Onijah Andrew Robinson, an American woman, traveled to Karachi to meet her online love but returned to New York after failing to connect with him.
