LAHORE: Secretary Price Control and Commodities Management Punjab Dr. Ehsan Bhutta said that no compromise on quality and price of commodities. Govt. will not spare involved wholesalers and take action against them as per law.

Local committees will ensure that essential commodities meet the required standards. He was addressing the officers during his visit to district Okara.
Deputy Commissioner Ahmad Usman Javaid, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue, Assiatant Commissioner, EADA, Secretary Market committees, Deputy Director Food Authority, DFC alingwith XEN Buildings, EADA Headquarters and DD Sahulat Bazar Authority were present at this occasion.
Dr. Ehsan Bhutta directed District Food Controller to visit all food godown and ensure their protection and take measures for safety of wheat stored.
Deputy Commissioner and Deputy Director Punjab Food Authority were directed to take action against unhygienic conditions in hotels/ restaurants and kitchens of marriage halls as well.
Dr. Ehsan Bhutta also visited Sahulat Bazar Okara site and desired to complete work while focusing on quality as well.
Proposed place for new Fruit & Vegetable Mandi and Grain market were briefed in detail by Deputy Commissioner Okara.
Dr. Ehsan Bhutta emphasised on prioritising sections of sheds/ shops/ roads in first phase.
