LAHORE: On the instructions of Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamyana, a ceremony was held at the Capital City Police Headquarters to honour retired DSP Hafiz Abdul Majid.

DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar paid tribute to the services of the retired officer and extended best wishes for his future. He congratulated DSP Hafiz Abdul Majid on completing his service with dignity, presenting him with a commemorative shield and a bouquet.
Hafiz Abdul Majid joined the Punjab Police as an ASI in 1988, was promoted to the rank of DSP in 2021 and served as DSP (Investigation) Gulshan Ravi before his retirement.
DIG Imran Kishwar described Hafiz Abdul Majid as a competent and professional officer whose contributions to the department will always be remembered. He emphasized that Lahore Police was like a family and retirees will always remain a part of it. He added that the department will continue to benefit from the experiences of its retired officers and that its doors will always remain open to them.
Speaking on the occasion, retired DSP Hafiz Abdul Majid expressed gratitude to CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, DIG (Admin) Imran Kishwar and senior police officers for their appreciation. He credited his successful career to the guidance of his senior officers throughout his service.
SSP (Discipline) Kashif Aslam, SP (Legal) Ghulam Hussain Chauhan, PSO to CCPO Kashif Dogar, DSP (Development) Mustafa Hassan, DSP (Inquiries) Amir Iqbal and other officers attended the ceremony.
