LAHORE: The Digital Platform Workers’ Union (DPWU) held a significant meeting with workers to discuss the issues faced by digital workers. The meeting has attended by representatives from DPWU, including Central President Malik Zafar Ejaz.

Establish clear employment contracts for digital workers and Guarantee protection of workers’ rights under Punjab Labour Code.
President Malik Zafar has said that DPWU will work with the Punjab Labour Department to address grievances and advocate for workers’ rights
The union will take the workers’ issues to the Labour Department and ensure they are resolved.
We will collaborate with the Labour Department to address issues related to companies (e.g., Transportation, Foodpanda) violating workers’ rights.
Malik Zafar Ejaz said that we will ensure that the issues of digital workers are addressed under the Punjab Labour Code. We urge all workers to come forward and register their complaints with the Labour Department.
Digital workers are encouraged to file their grievances with the Punjab Labour Court.
DPWU remains committed to fighting for workers’ rights.
