Senior Journalist Zain Malik dies after fall during Basant celebrations in Lahore
LAHORE (Web Desk) – A tragic incident during Basant festivities in Lahore claimed the life of senior journalist Zain Malik, a respected media professional associated with several television channels during his career.

According to sources, Malik fell from the fourth floor of a building while Basant celebrations were underway and sustained critical head injuries. He was immediately shifted to Munshi Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

The hospital issued a death certificate, confirming severe head trauma as the cause of death.
Zain Malik, a resident of Sanda, Lahore, was widely known in journalistic circles as a friendly, hardworking, and capable reporter. His sudden passing has cast a deep pall of grief over the media fraternity.
Journalists, colleagues, and friends have expressed profound sorrow and extended condolences to the bereaved family. Prayers were offered for the departed soul, asking Allah Almighty to elevate his ranks and grant patience and strength to his loved ones.
