LAHORE (February 3, 2026): Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar has said that Punjab Sports Department is going to organize Chief Minister Punjab Pink Games from February 11 to 15 at different venues of Nishtar Park Sports Complex. He urged the students of Home Economics University to take part in these games to the maximum.

Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar shared these thoughts while addressing the closing ceremony of Annual Sports Gala at the Home Economics University on Tuesday.
Vice-Chancellor of Home Economics University Prof Dr Zaib-un-Nisa Hussain and a large number of students were also present on this occasion.
While speaking at the closing ceremony, Punjab Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that more than 3000 female players will participate 20 different sports disciplines in the women’s biggest sports event – Khelta Punjab Pink Games.
Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that sports events are very close to the heart of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. “The sports gymnasium will be gifted to the Home Economics University after the approval of Punjab Chief Minister. Besides this, the ground of the university will also be upgraded”.
Regarding upcoming Basant Festival, Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar further said that Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has given permission for a safe Basant and in this regard all the rules and regulations will be implemented strictly. “It is expected that there will be record revenue generation within three days of Basant Festival”.
Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar said that the boycott decision about India match in the upcoming T20 World Cup is commendable and in this regard PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has taken a right step. “India has always adopted a strange and illogical approach when it comes to face Pakistan in the sports field”.
The competitions of more than 15 sports disciplines including tug-of-war and basketball were conducted among the university students. At the end of the sports gala, a special souvenir was presented to Punjab Minister for Sports Malik Faisal Ayub Khokhar.
