LAHORE (Staff Reporter) — The Reformers Group has announced its panel of candidates for the upcoming Lahore Gymkhana Club elections scheduled to be held on February 14.

Addressing a luncheon hosted in honor of candidates and voters, Patron-in-Chief of the Reformers Group, Qamar Khan Bobby, said the election would mark a turning point for the club. He stated that the group had been formed after careful consideration with the aim of transforming Lahore Gymkhana into a high-standard and merit-based institution.
Qamar Khan Bobby emphasized that the group’s candidates have demonstrated outstanding performance in their respective professional fields and were selected on merit. He pledged that, if elected, the first priority would be to enforce transparency and merit within the club’s administration, ensuring that no decisions would be taken outside established rules and principles.
He added that the current situation of the club is well known to members and expressed confidence that the Reformers Group would bring positive change and restore the club’s reputation.
Speaking on the occasion, Reformers Group candidate Professor Dr. Shaheena Asif and other nominees also addressed the gathering, reiterating their commitment to improving facilities and governance at the club.
The announced candidates include Qamar Khan Bobby, Dr. Shaheena Asif, Dr. Qasim Latif, Khurram Qureshi, Dr. Shahid Raza, Naeem-ul-Haq, Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Asim Raza, Muhammad Amin Khan, Akbar Zaman Khan, Saud Jan, and Syed Ameer Ali.
The luncheon was attended by club members and supporters, who expressed hope for a competitive and transparent election process.
