LAHORE: SP Investigation Model Town Shahid Nawaz Warraich, during a press conference at his office, disclosed details of the triple murder that took place in Kahna, confirming that the case has been successfully solved and the suspects have been taken into custody.
According to the SP, the victims — an elderly man, Nauman, and his two sons, Imran and Kamran — were killed after being drugged with sedative pills mixed into juice. He stated that the main suspect is a polio block in-charge in the health department, while the arrested woman was working as a polio worker.
Initial investigations revealed that a financial dispute existed between the suspects and the victims, which served as the motive behind the crime. After the victims lost consciousness, the suspects allegedly strangled all three, killing them on the spot.
SP Warraich further revealed that the suspects transferred approximately Rs3 million from the victims’ mobile banking accounts into their own accounts following the murders.
He said the arrests were made using modern technology and professional investigative techniques. A strong challan is being prepared to ensure the accused are prosecuted and awarded strict punishment under the law.
