LAHORE (Web Desk) – The valima ceremony of Junaid Safdar, son of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and Shanzeh Ali was held at the Sharif family’s residence in Jati Umra on Sunday, drawing prominent political figures, ministers, and close family members.

The event marked the conclusion of several days of wedding festivities that featured traditional celebrations, musical performances, and lavish décor. The venue was adorned with a soft lilac and white theme, creating an elegant and festive atmosphere for the reception.
The bride, Shanzeh Ali, appeared in a delicately embellished lilac ensemble, paired with diamond jewellery that complemented her refined and graceful look. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif also made a notable appearance, wearing a pastel Anarkali-style dress, accessorized with gemstone and diamond jewellery and subtle party makeup.
Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari, along with other Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders and party members, attended the reception. According to family sources, more than 500 guests were invited to the valima on behalf of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The wedding celebrations have attracted wide public and media attention, reflecting the political and social prominence of the Sharif family. Guests extended their congratulations to the newlyweds and offered prayers for their future.
