LAHORE, January 14 — In line with the vision of Punjab Chief Minister, DIG Investigation Lahore, Syed Zeeshan Raza, organized an open court at a private marriage hall in Harbanspura to address public complaints and strengthen citizen trust in the police.

The open court saw participation from SP Investigation Cantt Raheela Iqbal, DSP Investigations, in-charge investigation officers, and a large number of citizens, including overseas Pakistanis. Citizens shared their concerns directly with the DIG, who issued on-the-spot instructions to resolve issues.
Syed Zeeshan Raza emphasized strict adherence to merit in investigations, issuing show-cause notices to officers responsible for poor case handling and instructing all staff to ensure focus and professionalism in case investigations. He said that protecting citizens’ life and property is the top priority of the Investigation Police, and timely justice is key to maintaining law and order.
The DIG also directed officers to maintain courteous behavior with the public, enhance performance, and assured that his office remains open at all times to address citizen grievances.
