LAHORE: A meeting of the Committee on Privileges was held at the Punjab Assembly on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Sami Ullah Khan, MPA. Officials from the Punjab Assembly Secretariat and various government departments attended the meeting.

The committee reviewed six privilege motions included in the agenda.
Privilege Motion No. 19/2024, moved by Muhammad Saqib Khan, MPA, was deferred at the request of the member.

Privilege Motion No. 96/2025, moved by Ms. Neelam Jabbar Chaudhary, MPA, pertained to an alleged miscount by the Assistant Commissioner, Toba Tek Singh. After hearing the arguments, the committee directed that the concerned officer be removed from field posting. The motion was subsequently deferred.
Privilege Motion No. 85/2025, moved by Muhammad Bilal Yamin, MPA, was withdrawn with the consent of the member.
Privilege Motion No. 61/2025, moved by Muhammad Shoaib Saddiqui, MPA, was deferred at the request of the member.
Privilege Motion No. 90/2025, moved by Shahab-ud-Din Khan, MPA, was also deferred on the member’s request.
Privilege Motion No. 94/2025, moved by Sardar Alhaj Ghulam Ahmad Khan Gadi, MPA, was deferred at the request of the member.
