Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo announced the verdict, refusing to grant the request for the release of the digital assets. However, the court ordered that 19 personal items recovered during a search be returned to the content creator.
The items approved for release include bank cards, identity cards, a laptop bag, a GoPro camera and other personal belongings. The magistrate maintained that while personal items could be handed back, the YouTube channel and mobile phones would remain in custody.
Ducky Bhai had moved the court for the return of all seized belongings, arguing for interim access to his channel and devices. The request was partly accepted, limited only to selected personal effects.
The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency arrested the YouTuber in August in connection with an alleged case of promoting gambling applications on social media platforms. The Lahore High Court had earlier granted him bail on November 24.
