LAHORE: Provincial Minister for Law Rana Muhammad Iqbal Khan visited Ishaq Haroon (Waqf) Hospital in Lahore to inaugurate its newly constructed extension and review services at the old building. The hospital, a non-profit institution supported by donors, provides affordable and free medical care to patients regardless of their financial situation.

During the visit, the Minister toured Emergency, ENT, Eye, Urology, Orthopedics, and general wards, interacting with patients and checking on the availability of medicines, diagnostics, and staff performance.
While inaugurating the extension, Rana Iqbal Khan highlighted that the new facility would increase patient capacity, enhance specialized care, and benefit low-income communities. He praised the hospital management, doctors, paramedics, and donors for their dedication and reaffirmed the provincial government’s support for public welfare initiatives.
The hospital also shared updates on new specialist doctors, expanded ENT and Eye services, and partnerships with organizations like Siza International for medicine donations under CSR programs.
Rana Iqbal Khan called Ishaq Haroon (Waqf) Hospital a model welfare healthcare institution and stressed the importance of such hospitals in ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare for all citizens.
