LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana on Monday presided over a performance review meeting of the Iqbal Town and Saddar Divisions at his office. The meeting reviewed in detail the overall performance of both divisions, the prevailing law and order situation and key security-related matters. The meeting reviewed measures currently in place to safeguard citizens’ lives and property and to maintain public order in the provincial capital.

The CCPO directed that security at all important locations across the city be kept on high alert. He also directed to further strengthen security at police offices and other sensitive installations.
CCPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana, in view of the existing security environment, instructed police officers and personnel to remain fully vigilant. He ordered that combing operations be carried out on a daily basis under a proactive policing strategy. He further directed that search operations be intensified to curb criminal elements, while sustained action be taken against drug dealers. The CCPO also emphasized close monitoring of groups involved in online drug peddling. He urged officers to improve the quality of investigations to ensure that accused persons do not evade punishment.
