LAHORE, December 8: A contingent of Lahore Police visited the grave of martyred Constable Mohsin Ali on his seventh death anniversary and presented a formal salute. The police guard laid a floral wreath on the grave and offered Fateha.

Family members of the martyred constable also attended the ceremony held in recognition of his services. Mohsin Ali, a member of the Dolphin Squad, was martyred on December 8, 2019, during an operation against criminal elements in Baghbanpura.
In his message, CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana said that the Lahore Police is the custodian of the legacy of 343 martyrs and thousands of valiant personnel.
He said that those who laid down their lives in the line of duty are the pride of the police force, adding that their eternal sacrifices serve as a guiding light for all.
The CCPO said that the martyrs’ mission of safeguarding the homeland and maintaining peace will, God willing, continue with unwavering resolve.
He further stated that special measures are being taken for the education, health and welfare of the children of police martyrs, while the care and support of martyrs’ families has always remained a top priority for the Punjab Police.
