LAHORE: A colorful Meena Bazaar was organized by National Women Journalists and Lahore Press Club at Lahore Press Club on a no profit no loss basis.

The Meena Bazaar was inaugurated by Chief Guest President Lahore Press Club Arshad Ansari. Senior journalists Farah Warich, Sadia Salahuddin, Tamsila Chishti, Shahnila, Kanwal Naseem, Darakhshanda Alamdar, Rabia Azmat, Dafiya Naheed Ikram, Mubashara Sultan, Nabila Akbar, Zahida Parveen, Zubaida Khanum, Ghazala Ismat, Iqra Mughal, Mahira Hashmi, Khawla Arshad, Saima Iqbal were present on this occasion.
Women journalists and families of journalists participated in large numbers in Meena Bazaar. Gifts were also distributed among all women and children.
The guests were treated to hot soup by the National Women Journalists Forum. The participants appreciated the efforts of the National Women Journalists Forum to organize this fun fair for the families of journalists and the leadership skills of Ashad Ansari.
They said that for the first time in the history of Lahore Press Club, they have won our hearts by setting up stalls of quality and necessary items on the basis of No Profit No Loss. President Najaf Farzana Chaudhry played a key role in convincing various brands, campaigns and housewives to set up stalls selling organic products without profit, and the Najaf team, General Secretary Darakhshanda Alamdar, Vice President Mubashara Sultan, Finance Secretary Rabia Azmat, Information Secretary Nabila Akbar and active member of Najaf Zahida Parveen, worked hard to make this Meena Bazaar unique.
President Rushd Ansari and Chairperson of the Advisory Committee Najaf, Senior Journalist Farah Warraich Sahiba, in their joint statement, said that the sincere work of senior journalist Farzana Chaudhry and the efforts made for the welfare of her female journalists are commendable. I am very grateful to President Arshad Ansari for making this fair a success and that he will continue to be at the forefront for the welfare of female journalists in the future. About 25 stalls were set up in this Meena Bazaar.
Stalls of multi-brand stores like Talha Ahmed, Pathar by Farooq Hussain, well-known brands like Parle Cosmetics and AS Beauty Products were the focus of special attention of the visitors.
Women journalists also set up stalls, including Ghazala Ismat Khan, Dr. Saima Iqbal, Khawla Arshad and Nabila Akbar. Organic products stalls were set up by Sana Asif, spices by Shagufta Naheed Gohar, Shahnaz Nasir, eyeglass frames and contact lenses by Amina Nosheen Khan, bed sheets, hoodies, jewelry and stitch-in-stitch dresses by Neelam, Farah Ghaffar, Aima Fatima, Kashf Rafique, Amber Adnan, Shazia Babar Mehndi by Hafza Asif, food items such as dahi bhale, lado pithi, potato stick, samosa, rolls, chana chaat, fruit chaat were set up by Mehreen Abbas, Gulshan Siddique, Urooj Fatima, Ezra Parveen and others. The low prices of the brands were the focus of the visitors present there and they made a lot of purchases. The beautiful design of jewelry, the main part of the delicate makeup genre, was also the center of attention.
There was also a rush at the stalls of handmade items.
This festival, full of beautiful colors, concluded in the evening, leaving behind unforgettable memories.
