LAHORE, November 26: Lahore Police continues to implement exemplary welfare initiatives for the families of police martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty.

This was stated by the spokesperson for Lahore Police in a statement issued here on Wednesday. The spokesperson said that under the Shuhada Package, houses worth Rs310 million were allotted to two families of martyrs in 2025. In addition, Rs140 million were disbursed to three families as part of financial compensation.
He further stated that scholarships amounting to over Rs5.8 million were distributed among 17 families of police personnel, while Rs3.2 million were provided to eight families under the dowry fund. Moreover, more than Rs3.5 million were paid to 16 families as maintenance allowance, and over Rs773,000 were provided to three families under group insurance.
CCPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana said that the welfare of martyrs’ families remains a key priority of the police department. He added that all available resources were being fully utilized to support the families of fallen officers.
The CCPO said that Lahore Police is ensuring the provision of housing, quality education for children, and improved healthcare facilities for the families of martyrs. He reaffirmed that the police department will continue to stand by the families of its martyrs at every stage of life.
